Terms of Service
Using Capaccino
Welcome, and thanks for using Capaccino! By downloading, installing, or using the app — or just browsing capaccino.net — you're agreeing to these terms. They're written to be as clear and fair as possible. If something doesn't make sense, just email us.
What Capaccino is
Capaccino is a macOS app that lets you type a short shortcut and have it instantly expand into a full piece of text — an email reply, a signature, a standard message, whatever you save. Everything runs on your Mac, not in the cloud. You need an active license (monthly or yearly) to keep using it.
Your license
When you buy a license, you get the right to install and use Capaccino on your own Macs for personal or business use. One license, one person — that's the idea. A few things we ask you not to do:
- Resell or share your license key with others.
- Try to reverse-engineer or take apart the app's code.
- Use Capaccino for anything illegal.
Billing and subscriptions
Capaccino costs $3/month or $30/year. Your subscription renews automatically — monthly or yearly — until you cancel. Payments are handled securely by LemonSqueezy. You can cancel anytime from your LemonSqueezy customer portal with no hassle.
Our work stays ours
Capaccino, its design, code, and brand are ours. Buying a license gives you the right to use the app — it doesn't transfer any ownership of it. Please don't use our logo or name without permission.
Your privacy
Your snippets live entirely on your Mac. We never see them, never store them, and never send them anywhere. We don't collect typing data, and we don't sell your personal information. The website may keep basic server logs (like most websites do), but that's it.
When we update these terms
If we ever need to change these terms, we'll update this page and note the date at the top. We'll try to flag significant changes so nothing catches you off guard. Continuing to use Capaccino after a change means you're okay with it.
